Freelance IT Project Manager | Security & Integration

Our client is a large Belgian organization with an extensive and business-critical IT environment. Within the infrastructure department, work is being done on various strategic programs concerning hybrid cloud, middleware, integration platforms, networking, and cybersecurity.
To further structure multiple infrastructure projects and interdependencies, they are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager who takes ownership of planning, stakeholders, and delivery within the domains of AppStack, Network Security, and Networking.
Takenpakket
Here, you assume end-to-end management of multiple complex infrastructure projects within a hybrid enterprise environment.
You coordinate projects related to middleware, integration, automation, networking, and network security, ensuring that technical teams and vendors remain aligned. You translate the various project lines into concrete plans, milestones, and deliverables, and closely monitor these using tools including MS Project and Jira.
You guide technical teams during implementations, migrations, and infrastructure changes, while monitoring schedules, scope, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.
You organize alignment and synchronization meetings, maintain coherence between different initiatives, and ensure transparent communication with stakeholders and management.
Additionally, you oversee governance, documentation, compliance, and security requirements.
Profiel
- +5y experience as Project Manager in IT-infra
- You are strong in stakeholder management and diplomacy
- Broad technical knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, middleware, integration, and security
- Trilingual environment (English, Dutch & French): you should at least understand (not speak) them at a basic level and master one
